NSW public schools offer special religious education and special education in ethics, delivered by approved providers wherever available.
At Caringbah Public School, SRE (Special Religious Education) is delivered each Thursday from 2:00-2:35pm for K-2 students and 2:40 – 3:15pm for 3-6 students. Currently, we do not provide Primary Ethics due to a lack of volunteers to lead these classes.
On enrolment parents/carers will be given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE or non-Scripture should be given to the office, in writing.
The following SRE classes are offered at Caringbah Public School:

During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending will be in a separate space and will participate in a quiet activity.
