Parents and citizens' association

Caringbah Public School has a very active group of parents who are involved in the parents and citizens' association (P&C). One of the major functions of the P&C is fundraising.

This year the P&C will be organising several important fund raising projects. All funds raised help support the myriad of programs that benefit the students at our school.

The P&C meets on the third Tuesday or Wednesday of the month  (alternating) at 7pm in the library. If there are any extra meetings they will be announced. New members are always welcome.

Caringbah Public School is very fortunate to have a strong parent community who are actively involved with school activities, fundraising initiatives and volunteer committees.

Fundraising events

Throughout the year, fundraising events are organised by the fundraising committee to support our school.

Please contact the school if you are interested in participating or helping out.

Scholastic Book Club

Students have the opportunity to place an order through Scholastic Book Club. Brochures are sent home with students twice a term.

Every dollar spent through Scholastic book club goes towards rewards points, free picks and bonus coupons that the school can use for extra classroom and library resources.

Orders are usually sent home with the children, but if you would like to collect your order from the school office, please write 'office at the top of your order form and someone will call you when your order is available to be collected. The Co-ordinator for 2020 is Daina Penman.

School banking

Students at Caringbah Public School have the opportunity of participating in the Commonwealth Bank School Banking Program.

Through the program, primary school students can bank at school, giving them hands-on banking experience in a fun and interactive environment.

The school banking program includes an exciting and exclusive rewards program designed to encourage children to get into the habit of making regular savings.

If your child doesn't have a Commonwealth Bank youth saver account, simply go to the Commonwealth Bank to open an account. School banking packs are also available at the school office.

School banking is on every Friday.
